A $100,000 purchase by John Hyam Racing at the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale from the draft of Eliza Park International, Vienna Miss improved her record to 2 wins and 1 placing from 12 starts for $160,180 earnings.
The Listed race triumph gave Hyam a boost after having a tough start to the year, It was also Vienna Miss’s first success since her maiden win last August.
“I’m relieved more than shocked. She’s got so much ability this horse,” Hyam said. “She’s had no luck her past five or six runs. She (Mallyon) rode her perfectly. Instead of getting back in traffic, she gave her the nice clear run she had to have.
