Jamie Mott showed once again what a master horseman he is making a mid race move that gave Madam Stryker the win at Wangaratta in the Julie Milson BM58 2000m hcp. When the pace slackened to a crawl Jamie decided to make the race his own by pushing forward outside the leader using her race fitness to his advantage. It was a move that displayed initiative and left the race beyond doubt for the opposition who had been left to try to sit & sprint her down. There is no doubting that the move by Jamie was decisive showing his ability to rate the race. Madam responded to this free rolling tactic with pleasure displaying strength in her staying ability returning to the winning form she displayed 2 starts back.
