Ten year old veteran and stable senior Jacquinot Bay is still racing in winning form and will spear head the Lindsay Park assault along with Cool Chap and Mihany.

Jacquinot Bay has ignored his age and will head to Flemington as a last start winner at The Valley, his fifteenth win from seventy-eight starts, and has drawn nicely at barrier seven in the original drawn of sixteen plus four emergencies.

Cory Parish rode Jacquinot Bay two starts back when second over 1600m at Caulfield and will be back aboard replacing apprentice Fred Kersley who was aboard at The Valley.

The David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig trained Cool Chap has drawn next to Jacquinot Bay at eight with Andrew Mallyon to ride while Mihany, with Noel Callow in the saddle, will jump from the inside gate.

The Patrick Payne trained Chamois Road’s chances of claiming a hat trick of wins has been hindered after the five year old drew barrier nineteen in the original draw but will move in four spots if all the emergencies fail to gain a start.

Luke Nolen will be having his first race ride on Chamois Road who is undefeated from two race starts this campaign for apprentice Mitchell Aitken and after winning first over 1250m in a BenchMark 90 Handicap at Morphettville Parks in Adelaide, made it two in a row with his win over 1400m in a Handicap at Flemington on June 23.

Chamois Road is yet to win beyond 1400m but did run second over 1600m at Morphettville in the Listed $100,000 C S Hayes Memorial Cup on March 12.

Both of trainer Ciaron Maher’s acceptors have drawn double figure barriers with Kaching, Ben Thompson, drawing barrier fifteen in the original draw while second emergency Lite’n In My Veins coming up with thirteen for Michael Dee.

Darren Weir has accepted with three horses, Ozi Choice (Damian Lane, barrier 10), Raw Impulse (Ben Allen, barrier 16) while Silentz is the first emergency with Dean Yendall booked to ride from barrier two.

Chris Waller’s only runner Amovatio has drawn out wide at seventeen with Michael Walker in the saddle.
