Warracknabeal is proving to be a successful track for Wilde Racing after bringing home a winner at each meeting recently.
Saturday was no different, when Havastar broke his maiden status in the 1005m maiden with Linda Meech aboard.
He jumped well, travelled on the speed without much cover & was tough in the run home to score by 0.4L.
It has taken a little while for the penny to drop with Havastar, after showing promise as a 3yo.
He has certainly matured mentally & physically as a 4yo & we look forward to the campaign ahead with him.
