After the impressive second from Miss Toorak Flyer last Saturday at Randwick it was Bel Sonic’s turn to just fail today at Warwick Farm. A notoriously tough track to make ground at he was flying late but just couldn’t catch the inform progressive Fast Eddie. Tipping it won’t be the last time he wins and we are thrilled with how well our horse is going as he heads towards the $10 million Magic Millions race day. He will spend his Christmas in Sydney before heading to Gold Coast on the 27th.
Both horses are in career best form and it’s a massive thrill for a stable of our size to send two runners on the road to this prestige race day. We expect both to present well to the fore in the market of their respective races and some achievement to have two potential runners considering we only purchased 5 horses that year. It’s a plan we have been working on for six months and great credit to the trainer for having them bang on target.
