Carlingford continues to surprise us but we should know to expect this tough classy bloke to do what we don’t expect. His Bendigo win, when we thought he’d probably need the run, showed true grit and determination. Jess rode him to perfection and exactly as instructed and has once again shown that she continues to develop into a fine jockey. We thank Wayne for allowing Jess to ride him and Jess has repaid Wayne’s faith in spades. Unfortunately for her we will take him to Saturday Metro next start and Jess can’t ride there yet but we all have a feeling it won’t be long.
Carlingford is amassing quite a record now and hopefully the only way forward for him is up. Thanks Wayne for allowing us to train this classy bloke.
