Ownership opportunities in our first-class New Zealand-bred gelding OCEAN CLASS is now available.
This gelding has had just nine race starts and from those, recorded one win and multiple placings but damaged a tendon early in the 2018-19 season. Following a careful convalescent regime at Marymount Stables, Ocean Class has fully recovered and with a successful jumpout under his belt, will be at the races very soon.

His breeding is exemplary, from multiple GR1 winning mare, Glamour Puss, who secured over AU$1.23M in career earnings and was named third top filly in the 2005-06 Australasian Classifications. Her victories included the GR Salinger Stakes, Goodwood Hanidcat and Age Classic Stakes, while she was also winner of other group, the Sapphire Stakes and Bellmaine Smith Stakes.
A proven broodmare, she has produced eight foals – ALL WINNERS – including Beckham (over $265K in stakes) and Ngarimu, who raced in Hong Kong. Glamour Puss is a sister to Vision And Power, GR1 Doncaster Handicap winner, and Rare Insight, who secured the GR2 Stan Fox Stakes. Ocean Class’ granddam, Escada, was a winner to 1400m and placed at Group level, and is a sister to the black-type Starman II, one of 13 foals, eleven of which were winners. His sire, Ocean Park, is a five-time Group 1 winner (Cox Plate with an incredible winner-to-runner rate of 60.8% since commencing stud duties in 2013, including GR1 Epsom Handicap victor, Kolding, six other group level runners and 17 stake horses. In 2012-13, he achieved the rare feat of being named NZ Horse of the Year AND both Champion Middle Distance Horse of New Zealand AND Australia.
