Gun three year old Kementari has held his spot at the top of the betting after first acceptances were taken for the 2018 Group 1 $3m The Star Doncaster Mile (1600m) at Randwick on April 7 on the day one of The Championships.

Kementari is one of five horses from the James Cummings stable that remain among the eighty horses in the list of first acceptances for the famous Randwick Mile contest.
Kementari was elevated to the top of the Doncaster Mile betting at $4.40 at Ladbrokes.com.au after he carried the famous Godolphin royal blue colours to victory in the Group 1 $1m Mostyn Copper Group Randwick Guineas (1600m) at Randwick last Saturday.
The Lonhro colt is joined in the list of Doncaster Mile first acceptances by stablemates Alizee, Duca Valentinois, Interlocuter, and Raiment.
Sydney’s leading trainer Chris Waller has flooded the first acceptances with nineteen horses still in contention for the Doncaster Mile with Comin’ Through, D’Argento, Tom Melbourne, Egg Tart and Foxplay among the list.
Victoria’s leading trainer Darren Weir has four strong chances still alive for the Doncaster Mile with Brave Smash, Cliff’s Edge, Humidor and Tosen Stardom among the first acceptances.
Trainer Pat Webster has accepted with last Saturday’s Canterbury Stakes winner Happy Clapper who is on the second line of betting at $8.50 for the Doncaster Mile.
