It is a fitting testament to Penny’s efforts over her career that she has been nominated as Bendigo Horse of the Year 2018/19. In what was a massive year for this tough mare she pulled off some excellent wins and is a red hot go to win the award.
Penny went to the sales not long ago but was picked up by a few of the ownership group who weren’t quite prepared to send her off yet. She is back in work and progressing well.
The Bendigo Racing Club have tickets available for the awards evening on 17/08/2019 and anyone wishing to attend can contact the club for tickets.
