Wilde Racing ventured to two venues on Sunday and brought home a winner at each.
The first of our winners came at Donald with Printmaker who was first up from a spell.
His work at home suggested he had improved with the break which is typical for the Lucas Cranach breed who just take time to mature.
It was a tough watch in the straight. We could see he was travelling with nowhere to go. Brad Rawiller went for a run on the inside and the gap quickly closed so he switched off heels and knuckled down in the last 50m. We thought on the line, the horse on the outside had got the bob in but we were very pleased when the photo finish was shown, Printmaker had got the win.
He looks to be in for a great campaign.
Hard n Tough made her debut for the stable at Geelong and she proved just that – Hard an Tough.
She was very brave in her win, she made all her own luck by mustering speed early and taking up the lead.
She travelled well and gave a good kick, before being headed in the straight. To her credit she knuckled down and fought back to get the victory.
It was pleasing to get a winner first up for owners that have recently joined the stable.
Congratulations to both groups of winning connections.
