It seemed a fitting result with Set The Bar High winning at Warrnambool yesterday on Koroit Cup Day.
Many of the owners are locals or come from the Koroit area so it was great for them to have a winner on their cup day.
After a frustrating campaign thus far & not many things going his way, it was great to see Set The Bar High get the job done.
With the good barrier, firm track & a strong rider in Damien Thornton it certainly all fell into place to get a win on the board.
Set The Bar High had a good run up front, following the leader Real Finnis but we thought he did a great job late to tough the race out & hold off the closes.
We hope the win will give the horse a boost of confidence & he can continue on with his winning ways leading into summer on the firmer tracks.
