The Lindsay Park trained Personal has a win and two placings from her four race starts, including a third in the Group 1 $1.5m Ned Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield in February during the 2020 Melbourne Autumn Carnival.

Personal had one more run before a break for a twelfth in the Group 1 $3.5m Longines Golden Slipper (1200m) at Rosehill in March.

Co-trainer Ben Hayes, who now shares the Lindsay Park training duties with Tom Dabernig, said that Personal returned to the stable in great order and is excited about the Fastnet Rock filly’s Spring Carnival prospects.

“Very excited with Personal. She has really spelled well, really built up and matured,” Ben Hayes said.

“She is up to evens now and she is building really nicely.”

“She will be set on a Thousand Guineas path.”

Hayes also has high hopes for Minhaaj who trounced her rivals down the Flemington straight with her four and half lengths win in the Group 3 $160,000 TBV Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (1200m) in March during the 2020 Melbourne Autumn Carnival.

Minhaaj was also spelled after finishing last of sixteen in the Golden Slipper.

“Minhaaj is slightly different. She is more of a speed horse. There is no set path for her at the moment,” Hayes said.

“She is up to evens and ticking over very nicely.”

“They both did well in the paddock.”

The Group 1 $1.5m Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on October 31 could on the agenda for Minhaaj who has already shown her liking for the  Flemington straight with her win in the Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes.

“She has the speed and she is a winner down the straight as well so that is something we will definitely be looking at,” Hayes said.
