Vassa Blue made it back to back wins on the Ballarat synthetic track on Monday.
It isn’t easy to win your next start after breaking your maiden status but Vassa Blue was too strong for his rivals.
We were very pleased with his win considering he went up in grade and had to carry a big weight.
Although his two wins to date have been on the synthetic track we aren’t convinced that is the only track he will perform well on.
The penny looks to be dropping with him and his learning what this racing caper is all about.
